Maintenance Technician - Akron, Ohio - JOB 23-01032Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.00/HRAkron Area Truck assembly plant operation is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician's key responsibilities will be troubleshooting and repairing various manufacturing equipment and machinery to include MIG & TIG welding equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on a routine basis. Maintenance of company buildings & grounds.Requirements:• High School Diploma of GED required (Technical training or a skilled trade from an accredited institution a plus)• OSHA 10-Hour training preferred.• Experience using and/or maintaining fabrication and welding equipment.• Must have Mechanical & Electrical controls experience; (PLC's a plus)• Strong knowledge of welding and cutting preferred.• Must have electrical knowledge and training.• Must be able to work flexible hours as needed with short or no notice.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large number of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
