　　Maintenance Technician – Greenfield, Indiana  

　　Maintenance Technician - onsite

　　This is a second shift position M-F with hours of 3:30pm to 1:00am

　　In this position of Maintenance Technician you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical). Will evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Also will perform equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems. Will also include preparation of technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.

　　What You Will Do:

　　Expands analytical or technical skills in own work area.

　　Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed.

　　Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work in our area of expertise.

　　Works within standard operating procedures and/or analytical methods.

　　Works with a moderate degree of supervision.

　　Applies analytical and technical skills to perform a variety of activities.

　　Has good understanding of how the team integrates with others.

　　Recognizes and solves routine problems that can occur in own work area with or without supervisory approval.

　　Evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures.

　　Impacts the quality and quantity of own work.

　　Uses communication skills and common courtesy to exchange information.

　　What You Need to Succeed:

　　Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.

　　2 years of experience in a mechanical field, industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred.

　　Basic computer skills including MS Office and L2L

　　Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary

　　Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed

　　Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands

　　Must be able to work with limited supervision

　　Must be able to cover other days and weekends as needed

　　Must be able to climb ladders and do work on aerial work platforms as needed
