　　DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintenance TechnicianIntertek is searching for a Maintenance Technician to join our Building & Constructionteam in our York, PA office.

　　The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance of fleet vehicles and test equipment, including overhead cranes, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, etc.].

　　What you'll do:* Follow and enforce all safety requirements and company policies* Provide exceptional customer service* Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment* Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment* Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment* Prepare and maintain records and reports* Execute work orders and work independently* Perform other work as required

　　What it takes to be successful in this role:* High School Diploma or GED required* 5+ years directly related experience working with electrical systems (including computerized induction/ignition systems, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems), HVAC and building systems, welding, and power and hand tools* Training in vehicle/construction equipment repair preferred* Craft apprenticeship or equivalent production maintenance experience* Must possess (or be capable of obtaining) and maintain a DOT medical examiner's certificate to drive a company commercial vehicle, if applicable* Mechanical skills, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair* Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in vehicle, equipment and building repair and maintenance* Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders in the English language* General understanding of building construction techniques* Knowledge of the tools and equipment required to perform job duties, and experience using power and hand tools* Physical ability to routinely lift at least 75 pounds* Physical ability to sit, stand, crouch, bend, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, push, pull, etc. as required to perform job duties* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)* Ability to travel as business needs dictate
