Summary You will serve as the Maintenance Supervisor in the Maintenance and Repair Section of Facility Management Service (FMS), at VA Puget Sound Health Care System, American Lake Division, Tacoma, Washington. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the planning of work assignments on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly basis. You will redirect Staff to meet the priorities that arise from patient and staff requirements. You will continually addresses the priorities and defines best work practices and schedules to meet the need to maintain the facility in accordance with codes and standards. You will develop solutions to problems occurring at the Medical Facility are developed and implemented by the incumbent with directions to their technicians. You will perform cost analysis of operations is continually monitored by the incumbent to assure that efficiency is kept at a high level. You will assess the training needs to assure that the staff meets the requirements required to perform the changing environment. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Incumbent shall be exposed to the following hazards: hot fluids, excessive heat, gases, and moving machinery.
