Weyerhaeuser Company is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.
We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.
This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and will be 8-hour days, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and updates detailed weekly & shutdown schedules.Uses SAP maintenance management tool to create job plans, preventive maintenance plans, and document work history.Facilitates the Planning and Scheduling work team weekly planning meetings.Leads shutdown and routine work order planning and scheduling functions as required to maintain reliable equipment operation.Manages the maintenance forelog, by leading review meetings, reviewing new work orders to ensure there is enough information to proceed with planning, working with the site team to prioritize the backlog.Improves and maintains Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Repair job plans based on feedback provided by tradesman.Works with Stores/Purchasing to maintaining inventory & rebuild of equipment.Coordinates contract services for weekly routine and shutdown work.Estimates work orders and projects for material, manpower, tools, and equipment requirements staying in partnership with Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation.Coordinates scheduled jobs into weekly schedules according to manpower, materials, tools, and equipment along with work packages for all scheduled jobs to the Maintenance Supervisor.Maintains a daily focus on the safety of self and others.Ensures that all safety training is accurate and up to date.Attends and participates in area safety team meetings.
A valid journeyman trade certificate or bachelor's in applied science/engineering.
5 years’ experience in either a mill or heavy industrial setting is preferred.Strong leadership, planning, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of computer software and applications, with a preference given to a candidate with SAP and Microsoft Suite.Good organizational and project management skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team building skills.The desire to progress, learn, grow, and succeed.Candidate must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and managementCompensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $86,500.00 - $125,600.00 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
