Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain equipment proactively, troubleshoot and repair breakdowns on all distribution center-related equipment. The successful candidate will perform all scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce performance losses and increase equipment reliability. Electrical experience is not necessary, but candidates should be strong mechanically.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair mechanical equipment such as packaging labelers, case packers, palletizers, conveyor systems, shunts, storage systems, and product transport systems.

Conduct preventative maintenance on all DC-related equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns.

Support basic moving equipment and forklift maintenance.

Ensure mechanical equipment is operational and reliable.

Experience with gear boxes, rollers, blueprints, schematics, and crane service

Additional Skills Qualifications

Work Environment

This role is based in a distribution center where temperatures are between 10-15 degrees, with all necessary cold-weather gear provided. The initial schedule is 4 ten-hour days from Monday to Thursday (6 am-4 pm) for the first nine months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.12 - $57.12
