　　Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

　　The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP’s high standards in safety and quality.

　　Shift & Schedule: This position will support our 3rd Shift on a Sunday - Thursday schedule from 9:30pm - 6:00am. Flexibility for additional coverage outside of these hours, including potential weekends and/or holidays, is also required.as needed.

　　Position Responsibilities

　　Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.

　　Focus on Good Manufacturing and Food Safety practices in all work.

　　Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.

　　Assist and collaborate with other teams on basic mechanical skills, such as line operators, to support autonomous maintenance, TPM functions, equipment set-up and centerlining.

　　Ability to quickly learn to weld and machine metals, plastics, and composites.

　　Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.Complete size changeovers and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.

　　Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical and control failures and resolve with effective problem-solving tools with minimal downtime or supervision.

　　Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.

　　This is an Hourly role with starting pay of $28.70/hr and an additional shift premium

　　Requirements

　　1-year maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education.

　　Self-motivated team player with the ability and willingness to make decisions, effectively communicate, problem solve and teach others.

　　Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.

　　Ability to frequently walk, kneel, squat, climb, bend, stoop, and twist.

　　Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.
