This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, andrepairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe workenvironment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for performing repairs and preventativemaintenance on equipment and handle any work orders to includeelectrical, welding, fabricating, trouble shooting and general repairsof lines, conveyors and machines. This position also includes makingrounds and documenting system conditions (i.e. temperatures, pressure,inspections, etc.) and maintaining acceptable tolerance ranges. Read,interpret and understand drawings, sketches, prints, etc. that arerelated to the maintenance and repair of processing equipment. TheDardanelle Complex Safety Goal is Zero Accidents.
Must be able to work in outside temperatures ranging from cold tohot and be exposed to exterior environment occasionally which mayinclude rain, snow, wind, etc. Can be dusty, damp, humid, wet, witha high concentration of allergens.Must have the ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours a day along withthe ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoopoccasionally.Must be able to lift in excess of 40 lbs., climb stairs and ladders.Must be able to comprehend oral and written instructionMust have a minimum of a year maintenance experienceMust provide own hand toolsRequirements:
Education and Experience: At least 1 year of industrialmaintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenanceexperience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diplomaor currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.Leveling determined during the interview process based on skillset,knowledge, and experience.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logginginformation, processing daily work orders, and completing requireddocumentation. Ability to learn and utilize the ComputerizedMaintenance Management System (CMMS).Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skillsrequired.We offer a full range of benefits and perks including:
