　　The Maintenance Electrical Technician (MET) position is technical careeremployment in Tyson Foods, Incorporated. This position requiresproficiency in multiple skill clusters including a thoroughunderstanding of electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems,and manufacturing processes. The MET will perform medium to high-levelmachine systems troubleshooting and repair, and provide technicalsupport for all phases of the operation.

　　Tasks

　　Demonstrated skills in the area of AC/DC circuits, and industrialelectrical systems.Experience in electrical safety and lockout/tagout processes andprocedures.Knowledge in the theory and application of electronic devices, suchas industrial semiconductors, solid-state drives and industrialcontrol systems.Experience in the operation of PLC systems and microcomputers.Experience with control and chart recorders and transducers.Working knowledge and skills in tools and components used inmaintenance and repair of mechanical systems such as bearings,gears, clutches, belts, and seals.Ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumaticcomponents and systems.Basic microcomputer skills. This includes I/O and interfacingconcepts.Experience in PLC operation to include basic system configurationsand hardware.Demonstrated skills or training in electronic motor drivetechnologies including servo-motors, encoders, tachometers,electronic and mechanical brakes/clutches, closed-loop systems, DCservo, AC variable-frequency, AC servo, and stepper systems.Experience interacting with engineers to define a project need,assist with the design and specification ofmechanical/electrical/fluid power systems required to meet theproject need.The applicant must be willing and able to bend, twist, squat, push,pull, and lift overhead with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.without reasonable assistance.REQUIREMENTS

　　Applicant must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED),Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting,Minimum of 5 year of related maintenance experience, experienceworking in a food manufacturing environment (preferred),electrical/electronic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsdown to the component level,Applicant must be reliable and willing to work (flexible schedule)overtime, and some weekends in a cold, wet and humid environment.The applicant must be willing and able to lift 50lbs.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
