About Mainframe DB2 System Programmers

DB2 Systems Programmer

Install, upgrade, and administer Mainframe DB2 and DB2 related software. Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new/improved systems, as well as product upgrades. Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, team, and clients to continuously improve services. Participate in On-Call rotation schedule.

Knowledge/Skills

· Installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis related to DB2 system programming area

· Experience in mainframe DB2 migrations and upgrades

· Strong DB2 system programming skill, DB2 Recovery scenarios

· SMPE, knowledge of RSU maintenance apply procedures.

· JCL, ISPF, DB2 related products

· Performance monitoring and troubleshooting DB2 Issues

· Verbal and written proficiency in English
