These parts maintain exceptionally tight tolerance requirements in order to provide the RF (Radio Frequency) performance our cutting-edge satellite network requires. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency and will directly interface with assembly and test technicians, quality inspectors, and engineers on the Starlink satellite and gateway teams.RESPONSIBILITIES:Load cutting tools, fixturing, and pre-machined blanks into CNC mills for machiningOperate CNC milling equipment for machining of waveguide componentsDeburr and precision clean waveguide componentsPackage and deliver parts for assemblyPerform basic machine checks and light preventative maintenanceAssist with various shop floor activities including: 5S, material handling, forklift operationBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalency certificate1+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment or machine shopPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:3+ years of prior experience working in a machine shopKnowledge of CNC machiningExperience using various measuring instruments: micrometers, calipers, profilometers, and borescopesAbility to read and work off of a blueprintExperience in an aerospace or manufacturing environmentADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime and/or weekends, as needed.
