JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for the operation of acarded nonwoven line as a member of the operating crew. This position isto ensure the timely and accurate completion of customer orders incompliance with all safety, quality, and cost and productivityguidelines. The Process Operator is responsible for the housekeeping andsafety in the card line area. Description: Understand and comply withall GBN safety policies and procedures, including the company LifeSaving Rules. Have a strong, consistent and timely reaction tocorrecting all unsafe acts conditions and behaviors observed. Assess thehazards of the job area before starting any assignment, and plan the jobso work can be done safely. Perform safety walks to promote and maintaina positive safety culture. Set up, operate, and control all processequipment associated with the on the card line to meet or exceedfacility plan. Ability to complete change over\'s on the HydroEntanglement and Padder. Troubleshoot and correct line operationalissues. Coach and mentor work performance of crew members for continuousimprovement. Perform all process equipment operations as required byProcess Operator 1. Assist in the development of training materials.Read, understand, and execute work instructions, orders to produce,product specifications, winder instructions, and quality managementsystem support. Responsible for quality control of production. Performworkmanship audits, product inspections, and work instructions to meetspecifications as required. Understand and comply with all GBN safetypolicies and procedures. Comply with all lock out/tag out procedures.Attend all monthly safety meetings. Identify and correct all unsafeacts, conditions, and behaviors observed and communicate to supervisor.Work with minimal supervision, participated in sPlus, participate inproject committees, and participate in process improvement efforts. Be aleader of crew activities. Participate in the training of all crewmembers.
