Military servicemembers and veterans are encouraged to apply. Job Duties: Roll wire meshfor reinforced concrete manholes and pipe manufacturing using a cagewire rolling machine. Attention to detail - must be able to read and tointerpret production shop drawings Ensures machine is kept clean andwell maintained at all times. Good math skills- must be able to use atape measure Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting thewire machine as needed General understanding of manufacturing processesAble to use or the ability to learn how to tack weld and use a torchAble to learn how to operate a forklift and overhead cranes Work closelywith Plant Supervisor making sure that all wire cages are produced asper the production schedule. Work Environment: Work in indoor andoutdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperaturesWork near moving machinery and equipment - could include electricalhazards Work in confined spaces Work in a noisy environment PhysicalRequirements: Sitting Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds Standing / Walking/ Climbing Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending Pushing / Pulling /Reaching Above Shoulder Experience & Qualifications: Ability andwillingness to learn and be trained Safety minded when performing tasksHigh school diploma or equivalent Ability to operate forklift or othermobile equipment preferred, not required. Experience in the constructionand/or building materials industry preferred, not required.
