The duties of an assistant involve a variety of operations such as sorting and stacking corrugated products, operating machines, and doing quality inspections. The ideal applicant will be highly motivated to understand manufacturing processes and operate complex equipment, have a strong commitment to working safely, and be able to work in a fast-paced workplace. Ability to work weekends, overtime, and second shift is required.
Responsibilities:- Proficiency in operating a range of production machinery, including rotary and flatbed die-cutting machines, corrugators, folder/gluing machines, and flexo-folder gluers.- The ability to read specification documents and the capability to adhere to instructions.- Perform pre press tasks such as preparing materials and setting up equipment-Comfort level using power hand tools.- Assist with inventory management and quality control processes- Possess a basic understanding of math, including the ability to decrease fractions, and be able to read a tape measure to the sixteenth of an inch and basic knowledge of computers.
Skills:- Experience in fabricating, pressing, and packaging materials- Knowledge of pre press techniques and equipment setup- Proficient in machining operations- Sufficient physical strength to climb stairs and use a ladder, lift, push, or pull up to fifty pounds, walk, bend, and kneel during the shift

The following qualifications are required of applicants for this position:
