The District expects to appoint an individuals to the following position for the 2023 - 2024 schoolyear:*Long Term Substitute 1.0 FTE Special Education TeacherAnticipated Assignment:- Elementary assignment, currently- December 2023 - February 2024Responsibilities May Include:- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs- Use relevant technology to support instruction- Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments- Provide appropriate feedback on work- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies and school regulations- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures- Participate in department, school and parent meetings- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress andstudent needs- Keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes toinstructional plans and activities-Other duties per contractCompensation:-$50,992 - $97,378, prorated, commensurate with qualifications and experience*Contingent upon completion of 30 days in the same assignment.Individuals interested in this posting should hold appropriate licenses/certifications.
