  Position and Responsibilities:Cabling installationEquipment rack installationJack and connector installationCable types will include, but are not limited to: CAT3, CAT5e, CAT6,CAT6a, fiber optic, COAX, speaker and control wireTesting with various pieces of test equipmentInstalls fiber and copper cable in ceiling, conduits and raised floors;routes cable within walls and modular furniture; terminates both fiber &copper cablingTerminates and dresses communications closets following standard BICSItermination processesTests cable and ensure accuracy of cable testing, documentation of testsDemonstrates thorough understanding of cabling standardsLighting control system installationMechanical control systems installationBAS system installationPerforms testing, troubleshootingAdequate knowledge of cabling infrastructuresReads and interprets floor plansOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Career Level:Service Tech Low Voltage Level 1 & 2Indirect supervision.Performs technical responsibilities.Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques andprocedures.Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities underestablished procedures.Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professionalor manager.Skilled specialist or recent college/university graduate.Role specific skills and experience required.Service Technician HVAC Level 1 must have a minimum of 10 years of previousexperience and must have a Class A Supervisor's refrigeration license.Service Technician HVAC Level 2 must have a minimum of 5 years of previousexperience and must have a Journeyman's refrigeration license.Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendationsSupervision and guidance of crews.Other duties as assigned.Specialist/JourneymanLow Voltage Level 3Receives direct supervision.Performs technical responsibilities.Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques andprocedures.Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities underestablished procedures.Contributes to a team under general supervision of an experienced professionalor manager.Skilled specialist.Role specific skills and experience required.Service Technician HVAC Level 3 must have a minimum of 3 years of previousexperience and must be enrolled in an apprenticeship program.Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and makingrecommendations.Other duties as assigned.Company BenefitsComprehensive medical plans with HSA and FSA options for you and your family.Generous 401(k) plan with immediate company match - 100% vested.Dental and vision insurance for your well-being.Short-term and long-term disability plans available after one year.Company provided life insurance and AD&D with options for supplementalbuy-ups.Enjoy paid time off and holidays.Get paid weekly for your convenience.
