About LOGISTICS MAGEMENT SPECIALIST

  Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FLEET READINESS CENTER Strategic Group Business Development Department Customer Engagement Division of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. Responsibilities You will develop integrated logistical support (ILS) planning and supportability requirements for program documentation. You will evaluate integrated logistical support (ILS) processes to improve execution of integrated logistics support and readiness. You will brief officials and other agencies of integrated logistics support (ILS) operations, policies, and procedures. You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience performing duties such as Plan, establish, and execute effective total life cycle design interface and maintenance planning tools and procedures for the program office Intermediate and Depot Repair Capability Establishment. Evaluate and influence the most effective use of human and financial resources in fulfilling the goals of system/sub-system performance. Apply theory, concepts, principles, and practices of systems engineering, system life cycle phases, and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases. Identify statutory and regulatory requirements pertaining to performance of depot maintenance and repair in accordance with Title 10 and other statutory mandates. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to create oral presentations and author written reports and other documentation as required.
