JOB REQUIREMENTS: Logistics CoordinatorMilwaukee, Wisconsin *Transportation/Logistics Global Power Components is a privately held,growing manufacturer of UL gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, largegenerator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housingfully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. In 2018 wemoved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility on51st Street that will foster our continued growth as we continue to berecognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry. Due to tremendousgrowth, we are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to facilitatecommunicationbetween production,sales and distribution stages to promotea healthy and efficient supply chain. Responsibilities: Report dailyshipments to scheduling and accounting departments. Review all emailsregarding shipments, freight quotes and any quality issues fromshipments. Review schedule with all departments for accurate dates on adaily basis. Create all paperwork including labels for all job folders.Handle all incoming generators, parts and UPS orders and label them withcorrect job numbers. Review current freight vendors and look at newvendors and to ensure they meet our requirements. Send out all freightrequests and review. Upon review, send to sales personnel. Check thatall generator dates are correct for receiving. If not, review with salespersons and inform the scheduler of all changes. Assist with tasks asnecessary to complete tasks. Meet company expectations for demandingproduction requirements and schedules. Promote safety andaccountability. Qualifications: Previous experience in logistic for aminimum of three (3) years Related experience is important, includingexperience invoicing orders and managing driver paperwork. Knowledge ofsupply chain Ability to read and comprehend blue prints Excellentorganizational skills Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve avariety of situations.
