Summary
Responsible for managing and performing processes associated with loan administration. Supervise day-todaywork flow, scheduling, and exercise authority of a manager concerning staffing.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manages the daily activities of the Loan Administration staff in conjunction with the Loan Administration ManagerDirectly supervises assigned personnel and exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, approving non-exempt time records, performance reviews, promotions, discipline, and terminations in conjunction with the Loan Administration Manager.Assists with reviews of core system updates for loan related items. Performs testing, implements updated procedures, and communicates changes to staff.Processes consumer, residential, and commercial loan bookings, modifications, extensions and payoffs, payment posting, funding disbursements, and maintenance.Processes bookings of participation loans, participation loan payments, maintenance, and disbursement requests from lead banks.Provides support to internal and external customers by promptly researching and satisfactorily resolving customer inquiries and other loan questions.Submits mortgages, assignment of rents, satisfaction pieces, and other pertinent documents to Simplifile for recording.Processes "paid in full" loan requests, releases collateral, and prepares satisfaction pieces for signature.Monitors and collects insurance policies for flood and over one million.Performs maintenance on loan on Core as needed.Assists with processing non-accrual loans, collections and foreclosures.Assists with function relating to MERS including clearing recon items, audits, and the Annual Report submission to MERS.Supervises or performs the annual escrow analysis.Assists with implementation of controls, providing recommendations for controls, and analyzing cost benefits of the control implementation.Communicates recommendations, insights, and concerns to Loan Administration Manager.Conducts daily responsibilities in compliance with bank Loan Policy and procedures and federal/state banking regulations.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Four-year college degree and/or one to three years of loan experience.Ability to interpret and understand Commercial, Consumer, and residential loan documentation.Knowledge of core processing systems preferred but not required.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).Knowledge of general accounting principles.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand, process, and troubleshoot various types of issues and the ability to utilize independent judgment in exercising these duties.Capable of handling numerous projects simultaneously, while working with a strong attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment.
