A national full-service law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. The role supports multiple attorneys on a variety of litigation matters such as construction, employment and other commercial litigation matters.

This is not a floating role and will support the same group consistently, working as a team with paralegals and other legal support.

The salary range for this role is 80-113k DOE with additional compensation for any overtime worked. They provide flexibility to work from home 3 days per week on a consistent basis. Benefits include: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance with a variety of plans to choose from, coverage can be extended to dependents, spouses or domestic partners as well. There is a 401k with profit sharing, 15+ days PTO DOE, additional sick time, 11 paid holidays, transportation benefits and more.

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, supporting a litigation practice

Prior experience with litigation support software, such as Clio or IPro

Adeptness in e-Filing with state courts in King and Pierce counties, federal filing experience a plus!

Drafting legal court documents, such as pleadings and motions, often starting from shells

Experience assisting lawyers in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials

Proactive calendar management and docketing skills

Comprehensive understanding of court procedures

Communicating with courts, agencies, officials and other parties around the needs of cases

Eager to learn and collaborate with a team of skilled legal support
