Description

We are in search of an experienced litigation attorney barred in CA to remotely support our client law firm based in Burbank, California. This role involves practicing civil litigation and environmental law. This remote position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will have significant motion drafting, legal research, proof chart development and deposition preparation assistance. Responsibilities:

• Handling cases involving civil litigation and environmental law.

• Conducting legal research to support case preparation and strategy.

• Drafting motions and other legal documents to be presented in court.

• Reviewing legal documents and conducting document management duties.

• Utilizing case management software for tracking and managing cases.

• Preparing for and representing clients in depositions.

• Advising clients on legal rights and responsibilities.

• Developing strategies for case resolution.

• Ensuring client confidentiality and maintaining professional ethics.

• Keeping up to date with changes in law and legal practices.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid license to practice law in CA

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney or lawyer

• Proficiency in Case Management Software

• Proven experience in Document Management

• Expertise in preparing legal briefings

• Proficiency in Civil Litigation

• Knowledge of Environmental Law

• Experience in Document Review

• Strong skills in Legal Research

• Ability to Draft Motions

• Experience in conducting Depositions

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of professional ethics and integrity.
