　　About the Role

　　The firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join thier growing Civil Litigation team. In this role, you will play a key part in handling all aspects of complex insurance defense matters, from pre-trial to trial and beyond. You will work closely with partners, associates, and paralegals to develop and implement effective litigation strategies, conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and represent clients in court.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Manage and oversee assigned caseload, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

　　Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda on complex legal issues

　　Draft and finalize pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents

　　Depose witnesses, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for trial

　　Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

　　Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with partners and associates

　　Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals

　　Stay up-to-date on changes in relevant laws and procedures

　　Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

　　California bar license

　　6+ years of experience as a civil litigator, preferably in insurance defense

　　Proven track record of success in managing complex litigation matters

　　Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

　　Strong oral and written communication skills

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team

　　Excellent time management and organizational skills

　　Proficiency in legal technology and research databases

　　Prior experience working remotely is a plus
