Be Customer Obsessed Be Courageous with Your Point of View Challenge the Status Quo Act Like an Entrepreneur Have an “It Can Be Done” Attitude Do the Right Thing Be Accountable Each principle has a defined set of behaviors which help guide the 7-Eleven team to Serve Customers and Support Stores. ▶ About This Opportunity Responsibilities The Supervisor of Licensing is responsible for the end-to-end life cycle of operational licenses and permits for approximately 15,000 corporate and franchise convenience stores. Provides direction, development, and oversight to assigned staff of 10-20 licensing professionals, creating an open, collaborative, environment among peers and direct reports. Develops and implements processes, generates complex and transparent data reports related to internal licensing requirements, and company-wide licensing project initiatives, ensuring transparency for internal leadership and external stakeholders. Liaisons with internal corporate and franchise stakeholders and external operational leadership teams. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Oversee licensing/permitting application process for submission to jurisdictional agencies, reviews and approves relevant invoices requiring both flat fees and gross-receipt calculations. Develops, trains, and mentors 10-20 direct reports exhibiting strong leadership building trust in a collaborative, respectful environment fostering trust, growth and development. Develops and maintains processes related to licensing requirements, shares knowledge openly, at a high level develops and manages data reporting for all stakeholders ensuring data integrity and transparency. Initiates and follows through on communication for corporate/franchise operations regarding licensing projects, initiatives, and timelines. Address proactively and resolve appropriately risks or dependencies impacting licensing initiatives or deadlines. Initiates synergies aligned with strategic company synergies, identifying opportunities for improvement while developing efficiencies as necessary. Oversees project initiatives involving licensing, participates in and represents the Licensing Department with prepared presentations as necessary. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 1+ years CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Intermediate to high working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio/Project Management Software, Oracle and License HQ or other licensing data management platform preferred. Ability to think critically and strategically, problem solve, lead with integrity, motivate, and make decisions with ability to delegate as necessary. Expert verbal and written communication skills with the ability to address stakeholders at all levels.
