  We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Wastewater Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and compliant operation of wastewater treatment systems. The Wastewater Operator will monitor equipment, conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all wastewater treatment processes adhere to regulatory standards.

  Responsibilities:

  Wastewater Treatment:

  Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment to ensure the efficient removal of contaminants.

  Monitor and adjust chemical dosages to optimize treatment processes.

  System Monitoring:

  Conduct regular inspections of wastewater treatment facilities and related equipment.

  Monitor water quality parameters to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

  Troubleshooting:

  Identify and address issues related to pumps, motors, blowers, and other wastewater treatment components.

  Perform diagnostic tests and implement corrective actions to resolve operational problems.

  Compliance and Reporting:

  Ensure that all wastewater treatment activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

  Maintain accurate records of operational data and prepare reports as required.

  Preventive Maintenance:

  Execute routine maintenance tasks on wastewater treatment equipment.

  Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform preventive maintenance activities.

  Emergency Response:

  Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or spills.

  Implement contingency plans to minimize environmental impact.

  Safety and Training:

  Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.

  Provide training to team members on safety procedures and best practices.

  Qualifications:

  Education:

  High school diploma or equivalent.

  Relevant certification/License as a Wastewater Operator.

  Experience:

  3 years’ experience

  Proven experience as a Wastewater Operator.

  Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes and equipment.

  Skills:

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.

  Ability to operate and maintain treatment plant equipment.

  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  Physical Requirements:

  Ability to lift and move equipment.

  Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
