　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs part of the Moshannon District Mining Office, your main focus will be on conducting technical analysis and applying hydrogeology principles. You will collaborate closely with inspection staff to survey mining sites using global positioning system (GPS) technology, ensuring the protection of the surrounding environment. Your responsibilities will also involve collecting, analyzing, and compiling hydrogeological data to assess potential impacts on groundwater supplies. Additionally, you will review published reports to determine the eligibility of mining permits. This position offers a level of independence, allowing you to take the lead on your own work.
