  About This Role:

  The ILS Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-dayoperations of K-State Libraries\' Interlibrary Services Unit. This unitcollaborates with other libraries to obtain access to library resourcesrequested by K-State students, faculty, and staff that are not owned byK-State Libraries. The unit reciprocates by providing similar servicesto other libraries. In addition, the unit delivers scans of K-StateLibraries\' articles and chapters requested by K-State\'s students,faculty, and staff and ships K-State physical materials to distancepatrons. In addition to providing coordination of the unit\'s servicesand operations, the person in this position processes incoming borrowingand lending requests. This full-time position reports to the Head ofLibrary User Services and supervises 2 to 3 employees who are UniversitySupport Staff or Professional Staff.

  Required Minimum Qualifications:

  Requires a bachelor\'s degree and three years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:

  Master\'s degree in Library and/or Information Science from anALA-accredited programStrong understanding of OCLC ILLiadExperience with an integrated library systemExperience providing reference servicesDemonstrated successful personnel supervision and/or team managementexperienceDemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of standard computer office applications (e.g.,Word, Excel, Access)Strong customer service orientationOther Requirements:
