Lev 1 Vent and Fin Operator
Basic Function:
Ability to perform all activities related to Finning of cores.From experience and work instruction, able to fin most cores made and self-inspect work resulting in quality and efficient workmanship.Assist in maintaining organized inventory and other department functions.Begin learning how to vent simple cores.Position can lead to Fully Certified vent and Fin or assembly process certification.
General Responsibilities:
Accurate scanning in and out on jobs and the proper reporting of processed quantitiesWear proper safety equipment; always keep the work area clean and safe.Understand customer requirements, our company's internal scrap challenges, rework, customer returns, the impact they have on your job and demonstrate the ability to deliver quality and efficient workmanship.Review and inspect all material being used, building self-inspection into everything you make/process.Complete, date and sign-off on all routing informationPerform job tasks in an efficient manner according to given standards.Report any problems or discrepancies to immediate management.Responsibilities:

Properly and safely use all finning tools, filter spray gun, || locators, and chills. |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| 4. Understand types of cores, shapes, sizes, and thickness; || understand types of sand and properties. |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| 5. Understand customer requirements, our companies internal scrap || challenges, rework, customer returns, the impact they have on || your job and demonstrate ability to deliver quality and efficient || workmanship. |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| 6. Perform job tasks efficiently, meeting given standards and || completing all required paperwork and sign-offs |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| 7. Maintain and organized core storage with proper identification. |+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+| 8.
