Legal Response & Enforcement Specialist
Level (IC2) Individual Contributor
Classification: Non-Exempt
Working hours Tues- Sat, 10-6
The Legal Response & Enforcement Specialist will focus on handling tasks related to intellectual
property enforcement, anti-counterfeiting, as well as other legal and policy related matters.
LRE Specialist will be responsible for:
● Protecting company by completing intellectual property enforcement tasks, removing allegedly
policy-violating listings, and following up with the affected sellers.
● Responding to various third-party requests for information, including those from law enforcement
agencies, governmental agencies and 3rd party requestors.
● Ensuring that the marketplace is compliant with global regulations, including the GDPR.
● Reviewing data deletion and privacy requests in compliance with various international
regulations.
● Review and respond to law enforcement and other government requests for information—including subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and emergency disclosure requests—in accordance with applicable law and policies and procedures.
● Maintaining in-depth knowledge of policies and products, including those related to:
intellectual property, prohibited items including counterfeit goods, privacy and requests for
information.
● Working directly with members of Legal team, acting as a trusted subject matter expert on
important and confidential legal matters relating to all parts of business and policies.
● Developing efficient processes and workflows, collaborating with product partner teams to
improve tooling and systems.
● Achieving operational, business metric and quality KPIs in executing tasks regarding intellectual
property enforcement, anti-counterfeiting and legal process.
LRE Specialist will demonstrate:

● The skill to handle sensitive topics with composure and maturity.
● A BA/BS college degree (strongly preferred).
● DMCA and intellectual property, online content moderation, fraud investigation, or paralegal
experience is a plus.
To be successful in this role, the LRE Specialist will...expeditiously manage workflows executing
intellectual property infringement reports, anti-counterfeiting activities and legal process tasks
meeting all operational and quality metrics, and maintaining consistent enforcement of
Intellectual Property and Prohibited Items Policies.
