JOB SUMMARYThis role provides agile project management for multiple, large-scale, projects for the design and rapid development of courseware that maximizes knowledge transfer and participant learning and retention for assigned eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), and blended learning projects that align with organizational and business unit goals and roadmaps. This role, using project management applications and tools, is responsible for all aspects of project management including coordinating and managing resources, proactively anticipating opportunities and issues, meeting project milestones and program objectives, ensuring product quality standards, and completing projects within targeted budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of instructional design principles, and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and multimedia developers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for the management of complex design and development projects throughout courseware design life cycle.Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.Manage project budgets.Provide strategic direction and oversight to cross-functionalproject teams in multiple locations through the design life cycle.Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, course developers, subject matter experts, reviewers, and end users to ensure products meet objectives and quality standards.Grows and nurtures customer and subject matter expert relationships to support courseware development and meet team and organizational goals.Supports onboarding and mentoring of team members to advance quality, improve customer service, and build and sustain collaborative relationships.Implement and improve project management processes. Conducts regular project reviews and assessments; reporting on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.Solicits feedback for continuous improvement and proactively offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia, Education, Writing, Visual Arts, Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.5+ years of experience in project management, instructional design, program development, e-Learning, instructional technology, or related business.Proven experience managing courseware development projects.Proficient in project management tools and software.Solid understanding of educational assessment, design, development, and evaluation principles and methods.Strong understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning technologies.Highly developed planning and organizational skills.Ability to make decisions quickly and execute initiatives in ambiguous and dynamic environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to win trust and motivate diverse teams.Ability to work and supervise effectively in a virtual team environment.Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia, Education, Writing, Visual Arts, Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience in new learning product development, particularly in technical disciplines.Experience working in an agile development environment.Global business experience.Knowledge of SCORM and AICC standards as they relate to courseware development and LMS interoperability.Experience in or understanding of aerospace industries.Working knowledge of technical trends and technology in the mobility industry.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to work for long periods at a computer/deskStandard office environmentABOUT THE ORGANIZ TIONFullsight is an integrated brand of our three primary affiliate companies - SAE Industry Technologies Consortia, SAE International and Performance Review Institute - and their subsidiaries.
