Lead Outpatient Lab Specialist
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The Lead Outpatient Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for coordination and supervision of all activities under the direction of the Manager. The Lead Outpatient Lab Specialist is responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures on a rotation basis in the clinical department on a diverse age population. This team member is responsible to comply with and enforce all safety and infection control policies, procedures, and regulations.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
One year of h ealthcare/medical - phlebotomy experience required.
Supervisory experience required.
Certification/Licensure:
None.
