The Lead Engineer is responsible for setting the direction for our eCommerce Technology strategy; owning all development and support activities; partnering with internal executives to understand our customer needs and building a roadmap to support key customer implementations; and managing all related vendor and consulting relationships.

Own and manage all eCommerce vendor relationships, including all platform, consulting and staff augmentation vendors.
Directly supervise and own performance management for two (2) independent Business Analyst contractors.
Own daily operations and production support of all eCommerce solutions
Manage deployments to facilitate future development and bug fixes
Own the overall architecture for our eCommerce solutions and both contribute to and approve all major design decisions
Own the relationship with all internal business stakeholders, partnering with them to understand current and future business needs.
Manage and prioritize the overall backlog
Ensure software engineering best practices are consistently applied
Partner with other technology leaders to identify integration opportunities and collaborate to help define overall Technology team vision
Additional Duties
Directly contribute to code base where applicable
Perform code reviews
Support analysis of technology investigations across wider Technology organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
