PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Roundel Governance & Compliance team is responsible for creating, managing, monitoring, and enforcing a second line of defence for the operational and regulatory processes and compliance programs for Target. You will play an integral part in working with the operational excellence, business, product and legal teams to manage emerging risks, complex industry requirements and internal process expectations. This will include tracking changes in industry standards, working with global compliance and audience product teams, external consultants to understand operational and regulatory requirements, consulting with business and product teams to translate requirements for technology and process development, build and perform ongoing monitoring for the effectiveness of controls, and create remediation action plans to mitigate identified risk.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Lead Consultant Roundel Compliance, you'll take the lead as you...Create and manage Roundel compliance programs leveraging Target's Compliance Management System, including documentation of findings and remediation plans;Consult on current and emerging laws, industry standards to ensure compliance and develop processes and tools in accordance with the control standardsConsult on new and existing business and technology initiatives to ensure compliance requirements are built into new work to ensure our risk profile does not increase;Build strong relationships with key business partners to enhance the integration of compliance requirements into their processes;Analyze compliance industry trends and developments and assess the company's corresponding practices;Actively participate in decision making with management and seek to understand the broader impact of decisions;Deliver on projects from strategy development through execution, managing budget and resources accurately and on time, and reporting potential obstacles or risks;Clearly communicate technical or specialized concepts to partners in other business areas;Analyze applicable compliance laws and track changing legislation, industry standards; prepare the organization for internal and external audit, accreditation;Develop monitoring and testing processes and execute appropriate remediation follow-up in instances where controls are not operating as intended;Develop and deliver training on the importance of our compliance programs across Roundel teams globally;Develop and report the effectiveness of the compliance management program to mitigate possible risks and control gaps.Reports to Director, Roundel

Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree8-12 years' of overall experience with significant working experience in Governance & Compliance spaceProblem solver; ability to identify problems, analyze data & present conclusionsStrong verbal, written and presentations skillsThe candidate should be flexible, highly adaptable to a constantly changing environment, and excellent team player. The candidate will be asked to juggle multiple ad hoc requests in addition to the BAU aspects of the role.Strong interpersonal and process & time management skillsHigh level of attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills
