Job Summary
Interfaces with the project team in developing testing requirements for major projects of considerable complexity; prepares system test design specifications; and coordinates and manages project test resources in the development of large multi-system, multi-platform test project. Responsible for accurate and timely creation and execution of UAT test artifacts and tasks. May also assign and manage the workload for a team of analysts on the project.
Job Duties
Works closely with project teams to develop test cases/scenarios based upon defined requirements documentation for major projects of considerable complexity.
Prepares general system test design specifications and documentation.
Creates, reviews, analyzes, and estimates project test requests.
Fields direct questions from Molina Operations Staff regarding business, technical and operations rules that may impact testing.
Develops technical tests for complex business and system solutions.
Provides guidance for project team members through project testing as needed.
Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers handling all aspects of client relations concerning testing for technical projects, including coordination and assistance in presentation of results.
Provides leadership by mentoring others and sharing business and system knowledge.
Develops, reviews, and validates test results per requirements.
Develops and documents a test plan that describes the testing steps and test cases needed to prove that the components of the solution work as expected for all solutions, including complex solutions.
Creates, presents, and executes functional and acceptance test cases in accordance with the requirements of the solution/project.
Manages complex project testing tasks from requirements review through deployment, including work assignment, prioritization, issue triage etc.
Understands other Molina changes in process that may impact the customer and notifies the customer of such changes well ahead of their implementation.
Supports the testing deliverables as needed through audit and validation of testing work completed through supported test applications used - JIRA, iServe.
Able to work in a project team setting while also able to complete tasks individually within the provided timeline or as needed, accelerated timeline to meet the desired deployment deadline.
Provides testing guidance to Business Systems Analysts as needed for the project.
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
7 + years' experience in a combination of applicable business and business systems
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Advanced SQL skills (Queries).
Edifecs experience.
NetworX experience.
QNXT.
CTP - Claims Testing Program.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Working environment is generally favorable and lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Must have the ability to sit for long periods. Pay Range: $65,791.66 - $135,148.59 / ANNUAL
