*The Headlines: *
In the role of * Learning & Development Technician* , working in Wheat Ridge, CO , you will be responsible for developing and providing learning resources (standard operating procedures and job aids) for manufacturing operations equipment technicians, operators, and crafts. collaborates with teams and SMEs, translating technical information into understandable written documents and e-learning courses, and is responsible for updating and recording the completion of training and maintaining Skills Competency Acquisition Process (SCAP) data and learning management systems. This role is heavily involved in e-learning content and managing the Learning Management System (LMS). Manage employee and contractor user profiles in the LMS and assign required training. This role supports business units across the Brewery.
This position reports to the Manager Learning and Development.
*The Responsibilities: *
L&D Process - Work with Subject Matter Experts and leaders to review duties per equipment operations position. Identify and work with subject matter personnel/points of contact across all levels to develop and review pre-existing documentation. Identify the tasks, duties, or competencies that peers perform in various positions to develop Job Task Validations for each position. Develop the support documentation needed for an employee to complete these duties successfully. Photograph and load digital pictures that would clarify material covered in the standard operating procedure documentation, job aids, and training materials. Develop SOPs per standards for assigned units for OJT training. Provide OJT as assigned, based on current capabilities and skills. Upload and update documentation or information in the Document Library. Periodically inventory documentation for relevancy. Participate in L&D-related assessments, meetings, or projects as assigned.
Learning Management System (LMS) - Train plant personnel on accessing information from the Learning Management system, SharePoint, and other learning repositories. Upload/update and record completion of training in the company LMS. Generate and schedule standard reports, including creating ad hoc reports. Provide troubleshooting expertise to LMS users on an ad-hoc basis. Understand how to execute all major LMS day-to-day administrative tasks and provide expertise to other team members as necessary. Assign LMS courses to team members as prescribed by the Skills Matrix. Add closed captioning to e-learnings as necessary. Participates in LMS change management/governance meetings as necessary. Works closely with GBS to troubleshoot and manage the LMS.
Brewery and Business Unit Support - Builds and maintains relationships by collaborating with business unit and department team members to foster trust, commitment, accountability, and results. Brewery Contractor and Contingent Worker liaison supporting contractor training and security requirements through the LMS. Design, create and post slides for Brewery comms digital screens.
The Other Qualifications:
You have a High School Diploma / GED.
You have at least 1-3years experience.
You work well with peers and is willing to share knowledge and skills.
You have good working knowledge of packaging, brewing, customer service, or utilities.
You have strong computer background and eager to learn computer skills, e.g., SharePoint, e-learning software, Excel, Word, etc.
You have excellent Excel skills to generate reports or customize data imported from SuccessFactors.
You are willing to come “off shift” periodically for training purposes familiarity with Skills Competency Acquisition Process (SCAP).
