Description

　　SAIC is seeking a launch systems engineer to perform launch base requirements management for multiple programs/customers within the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Office of Space Launce (OSL) directorate located at Vandenberg SFS (VSFS), CA . This position will primarily focus on launch communication requirements management with growth to manage all launch base support requirements.

　　Provide integrated program assessments and recommendations for the tactical and strategic planning to support mission launch base support communication requirements.

　　Lead and support mission and capability Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in supporting launch base communication requirements development and verification.

　　Develops solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems.

　　Prepare and update documentation, databases, briefings, and attend infrastructure reviews and Change Management Boards.

　　Coordinate risk processes and document identified risks, prioritize and manage their mitigation through closures at monthly boards.

　　Provide technical oversight, reviews, and reports on critical support systems accuracy, timeliness, and other factors affecting operational capabilities.

　　Review and provide technical assessments of contractor proposals, designs, drawings, non-conformances, and other technical documentation.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s and five (5) years or more experience; master’s and seven (7) years or more experience; In lieu of a degree must have ten (10) years of technical experience. Must has HS degree and some college.

　　Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

　　Familiarity with NRO COMM architecture.

　　Experience with requirements tracking and management.

　　Working knowledge of systems engineering documentation to include concepts of operations, interface control documents, and verification and test.

　　Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
