  Seeking 18 Temp/FT positions in the following counties: Colorado:Weld, Boulder, Broomfield | Job Duties: General landscaping andgroundskeeping workers use their skills and experience to develop uniqueoutdoor spaces and turn contractors or property owners visions into publicparks, gardens areas, commercial surroundings and residential livingspaces. General landscapers maintain grounds of property using hand or powertools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which mayinclude any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing,trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, flowerbed construction and preparation, removing unwanted debris, monitoringplant health, weeding, sprinkler installation, and installation ofmortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Mowing and trimming occurson a weekly or bi-weekly basis based on signed contracts or weekly invoicing.Dates of need: 2024-04-01 to 2024-11-17 | # of regular hours guaranteedper week: 35 | Mon-Fri poss Sat | 08:00 - 05:00 | Lift and sustain50 lbs | No ed./exp. required. OTJ training available. Starting wage$21.69 p/hr. to $22.00 p/hr. Poss. OT starting from $32.54 p/hr.to $33 p/hr. A single workweek is used to compute wages due, paidbi-weekly. Poss. raises, bonuses, or incentives dependent on tenurew/company, experience, or job performance. All deductions from theworkers' paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provideworkers at n/c all tools, supplies, & equip. required to perform thejob. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa and bordercrossing fees,in-bound transportation, daily subsistence and hotel costsfrom the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer toemployer's place of business. The amount of transportation payment orreimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable commoncarrier for the distances involved. Upon completion of the work contract orwhere the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay forworkers reasonable costs of return transportation & daily subsistence to theplace the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker willnot return due to subsequent employment w/another employer. The employer isresponsible for paying inbound transportation costs in the first workweek ofemployment to the extent that shifting such costs to the employees (eitherdirectly or indirectly) would effectively not bring the workers' wagesbelow the FLSA minimum wage. Employer will provide or pay for charter busservices or other modes of transportation to groups of H-2B or U.S. workers orwill permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose andreimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable commoncarrier transportation charges for the distances involved. The remainder ofinbound transportation, meals, and hotel expenses to be reimbursed to theworker at the 50% point of the contract. As per FLSA requirements, dailymeal subsistence is paid. Outbound transportation and subsistence will beprovided/paid by the employer where the worker completes the work contractperiod, or is terminated without cause, and no subsequent H-2B employmentis available. Employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or othermodes of transportation to groups of H-2B or U.S. workers or will permitworkers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburseworkers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carriertransportation charges for the distances involved at the end of the contractor worker termination date. Other deductions from employees pay: Alldeductions required by law will be deducted from workers' pay. Dailysubsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 p/day during travel to amax of $59.00 per day with receipts.
