Landscape Laborer. 33 temp/full-time positions w/Beechwood Landscape Architecture & Construction LLC from 4/1/24 - 12/15/24. Landscape/maintain grnds of proprty w/hand/power tools/equip. Wrkrs typicaly perfrm variety of tasks, which may inclu. any combo of lay sod/mow/trim/plant/water/fertilize/dig&rake.
Reqs suprvsn. Must lift/carry 50lbs., when nec. Sat/Sun wrk reqd, when nec. Post-hire random drug test&e-Verify check reqd of foreign/domestic wrkrs. Valid DL not reqd for position, however, motor vehicle checks reqd for foreign/domestic wrkrs who vol. drive co. vehicles. On-the-job training provided.
Emp pays in advance/reimburs H2B wrkrs in the 1st wrkwk for all govt.-mandated&visa-related fees (exclu.passport fees). For non-locl wrkrs (i.e.,residing outsid norml comuting dist.), emp reimburs inbound travl costs @50% point in contrct (unless paid in advnce). Inbound travl inclu. trnsportation costs from wrkr's prmannt residence/place of recruitmnt, a daily meal sbsistnce (based on rates reqd by law, curently $15.46/day min or $59.00/day max for wrkrs w/aceptble receipts)& reasnble lodging costs, if aplicble. Travl reimburse based on least-cost common carrier rate. Emp provides/pays outbound travel costs upon compltion of the contract period/early dismisal, excpt where wrkr has sbsequnt emplymnt. Emp guarntees to offer hrs=to at least 3/4 of the wrkdays in each 12-wk period of the total contract period, beginning w/wrkr's 1st workday&ending on the contract end date/any extension thereof. Employer may count all hrs wrked, as well as any hrs offered w/in the stand wrk sched a wrker chooses to not work, up to the max # of daily hrs on the job order. Wrkrs who volunt abandon employmnt aren't entitled to payment for outbound travel costs/3/4 period guarantee described above. Emp provides w/o charge all tools, supplies&equipment(incl. uniforms, if applicable) neces to perform duties assigned. If reqsted, emp helps non-local wrkrs secure optional wrker-paid lodging(not to exceed fair market value, based on # of occupants;cost TBD). Housing costs paid directly to landlord&are not payroll deducted.
JOB LOC: 119 Eayrestown Road Southampton, NJ 08088&multiple wrksites w/in Burlington, Camden&Gloucester counties. Emplr provides incidental trans btwn job sites. No daily transport to/from wrker's home&primary wrksites. Such trans complies w/all applicable Fed/State/local laws/regulations. Wage Info:no less than $18.71/hr. OT $28.07/hr (OT hrs vary). Raises/bonuses may be offerd at emplr's discretn, basd on individual factors includ wrk perfrmance, skill&tenure.
Single wrkwk used to compute wages due. Payrll period is bi-weekly. Wkrs paid by check on Fri. Stndrd wrk sched is 6:30AM-3PM, M-F, 40 hrs/wk. Wkr may be offrd more than stated hrs/day, depending on weather&other condit. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect hrs. Emplr will make all deducts from wrkr's paycheck req'd by law. Emp doesn't envision other wrkforce-wide payrll deducts. Volntary dedctions mst be pre-authorized in writing&may inclu the following:employee retirement, health ins premiums&AFLAC plns for wrkrs volntarily prticipating in plan(s).
