Position: Land Surveyor/Civil Engineer
Location: REMOTE (travel required)
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $28.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm EST

What’s a typical day as a Land Surveyor/Civil Engineer? You’ll be:
• Traveling to conduct transportation site audits of project sites and routes prior to shipment of wind turbine components.
• Assessing commodity and equipment configurations needed to transport freight and alerting transportation suppliers when additional special handling requirements are needed.
• Reviewing transportation supplier’s logistics plan for safety, quality, and efficient freight delivery.
• Collaborating with the Project Management Team, Site Monitors, and Truck Bosses for wind project fulfillment.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with State/Local Departments of Transportation.
• Participating in meetings to monitor shipment status and perform problem resolution.
• Contributing to accurate site audit reports for initial and follow-up surveys.
• Developing a strong understanding of standard, heavy haul, and specialized truckload transportation equipment.
• Working holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Traveling frequently.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience with a minimum BS/AS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Project Management, or related field -OR- 3+ years land/related survey or heavy-haul/over-dimensional logistics experience.
• Are proficient in MS Office programs and satellite-based mapping software.
• Have successfully completed Drone Pilot training and licensure as a “Remote Pilot - Small Unmanned Aircraft System”.
• Are fluent and proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Have a valid Passport.
