Labor Relations Manager

As the Labor Relations Manager, you will train and assist the management team and staff in your district and other Eastern European teams in matters regarding collective agreements, state, local, and employment laws and regulations, and other labor-related topics. You'll liaise between Turkish union officials and UPS management and staff, especially when it comes to disciplinary, grievance, panel, and arbitration hearings, where you'll ensure consistent application of the labor agreements. Your Tasks
Serve as contact person for all levels of employees and for all matters related to constitutional and labor law
Skilled in understanding and explaining labor contracts, resolving disputes, and negotiating wages and policies
Responsible for labor negotiations in Turkey and UPS's Area East
Implement labor law training
Write briefs and prepare exhibits and witnesses that support the Company's position
Present and argue panel cases in accordance with CBA processes
Manage resources and people processes while developing others
Build positive labor union relationships
Support local contract negotiations
Your Skills
Social competence and teamwork-driven
Strong organizational skills and decision-making ability
Strong communication skills, also in written and spoken English
Detailed knowledge of human resources, labor law, and social security law
Good computer skills
Bachelor's degree or international equivalent
Broad experience (minimum of 3 years) in labor relations on a regional level
Willingness to travel if necessary
