　　Position Summary & Highlights:

　　We are seeking for a Lab Services Specialist for our Treasure Valley Centers which are located across the Treasure Valley. This is a full-time day shift Mon-Friday with a 7:30 am to 5pm schedule. In this role you can make a difference by applying your current phlebotomy/Lab Tech experience and skills.

　　What you will do:

　　Our ideal candidate under the general direction of the supervisor, accurately schedules and processes laboratory requests for outpatients, and organizes and directs the flow of inpatient specimens and orders to the appropriate areas of the laboratory. Serves as the central communications area of the laboratory for the flow of incoming requests and specimens and the return of information to the requesting physician.

　　As a Lab Services Specialist you will assist in directing phlebotomy staff to stats, traumas, and other requests for phlebotomy services. Will transcribe inpatient/outpatient orders in a timely manner.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or equivalent required.

　　Some college or Associate's degree preferred.

　　1 year of experience working in a hospital setting preferred.

　　Basic understanding of Medical Terminology preferred.

　　Phlebotomy skill set preferred.
