　　ProHealth Physicians in Wallingford has an opening for a full-time Lab Tech. ProHealth Physicians is a physician-led medical group with 85 practice locations throughout Connecticut serving more than 10% of the state's residents. We empower physicians and advanced clinicians to better serve patients through enhanced care processes in support of improved patient outcomes. Formed in 1997, ProHealth Physicians has grown to include more than 350 primary care and specialty clinicians and offers select specialty and diagnostic/therapeutic services.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　All responsibilities of the Specimen Processing

　　Exceeds productivity and quality standards set by ProHealth Physicians Laboratory

　　Solves more complex problems on a routine basis

　　Demonstrates a basic understanding of how Specimen Processing impacts the testing laboratory

　　Identifies problems with specimen types, missing information etc. and assigns the appropriate TIQ, and in some cases resolve them

　　Understands the complex relationship between test(s) ordered and received

　　Completes all required written documentation, legibly and within the assigned time frame

　　Meets quality and production standards within 6 months of completing training

　　Learn additional functions within Specimen Processing to allow for timely progression to the next level

　　Adheres to all ProHealth Physicians Laboratory policies and procedures, including safety and compliance

　　Performs all other duties as assigned after 90 days training

　　Required Qualification:

　　High school education or GED or equivalent experienceConnecticut Residents Only: The hourly range for Connecticut residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
