CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area providing comprehensive treatment, primary health care, prevention, and housing services for addictive and compulsive behaviors and disorders.

　　We are currently looking for a full-time Food Services Supervisor for our women and men's residential programs.  

　　Duties Include:

　　Oversee preparation of food items for scheduled resident lunch and dinner meals, following menu, standardized recipes and methods of preparation (including proper thawing procedures). Make and record any necessary menu substitutions.Oversee meal service to ensure quality of service to residents.                                                                      Keep work areas, kitchen area, pantry area and equipment clean.  Ensure cleaning schedule is maintained.                            Create weekly staff schedule, ensuring that all meal serving periods are properly staffed.                                                             Keep accurate inventory list and temperature logsMinimum Requirements:

　　One year experience in food preparation and supervision.  Have sufficient dexterity to handle food and equipment efficiently and safely.  A great deal of time is spent on foot either continuously walking or standing.  Estimated time per day is 6 ½ hours. Training in Hazcom, De-escalation and Cultural Sensitivity. Demonstrates the ability to suggest or recommend persons for hire, fire, advancement, promotion or other changes in status.
