Description

　　The Engineering Science Division (ESD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Junior Engineer to support engineering and scientific research, development, testing, studies, and related activities onsite in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. This position is contingent on contract award.

　　As a Junior Engineer you will perform engineering design, analyses, and provide engineering support in developing/evaluating specific research areas associated with evolving security technologies. You will assist in the preparation of technical plans, reports, and technology studies; reviews and comments on past and present work related to specific research areas; prepare briefing material on ongoing activities; attend meetings with customer and other relevant contractor personnel in order to better understand engineering issues related to transportation security.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field from an accredited college or university, including studies in the areas of research concepts, principles, practices, and techniques of research engineering in electrical/electronics, mechanical, or materials.

　　Must be a US Citizen.

　　Requires Secret Security Clearance or higher and DHS Suitability.
