We are seeking a Junior Civil CAD/BIM Technologist to join our team.

　　Our team regularly collaborates on projects across North America. The successful candidate should be comfortable working and collaborating on a variety of different projects with team members across North America.

　　We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player that is excited about taking on a new challenge. While the successful candidate will be based in our Winnipeg, MB office. We do offer flexible hybrid work from home/office arrangements.

　　Your Key Responsibilities

　　Using your knowledge of drafting practices and CAD platforms you will work closely with other CAD Technician / Technologists, engineers, and senior designers to complete the following tasks:

　　Prepare engineering drawings for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

　　Prepare plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final, ensuring reviewer comments received are corrected and addressed.

　　Prepare presentation graphics and report figures.

　　Coordinate project drawings with project managers, technical staff, and others.

　　Complete model reviews and collaborate with other technical disciplines.

　　Ensure that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner.

　　Understand and adhere to Stantec and client standards.

　　Qualifications

　　Your Capabilities and Credentials

　　Effective communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere.

　　Highly organized, have significant attention to detail, able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.

　　Experience with MS Office Suite including Word, and Excel.

　　Government of Canada and RCMP Security Clearances considered an asset.

　　Experience in following considered an asset:

　　Topographic and as-built surveysConstruction SupervisionCivil 3DAutodesk BIM 360 and ProjectWiseAutodesk RecapAutoTurn or Vehicle trackingMicrosoft TeamsEducation and Experience

　　A Civil Engineering Technology Diploma.

　　Experience and familiarity with municipal, urban development and water resources disciplines and/or an education background in these areas.

　　Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience. This is an entry level / new graduate position. Previous summer/intern experience and a comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D would be considered an asset.
