Description

A non-profit in Venice is hiring a Jr Executive Assistant to support the CEO. This is a 2–3-month contract position that is fully onsite in Venice. As the Jr Executive Assistant, you will address most of the internal and external needs of the CEO. In addition, this role serves as the primary on all matters concerning the Board of Directors. This includes compiling quarterly Board report content internally, providing any necessary edits to provide continuity in the narrative of the report, scheduling Board and subcommittee meetings, “hosting” the virtual meetings and running through slide presentations.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting an executive with a nonprofit. Hours are typically 8:30 - 5:30PM. Pay is $25-27/hr, based on experience.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant role within the Non-Profit sector

• Proficient in onboarding new employees and managing employee engagement activities

• Extensive experience in filing and record keeping

• Strong skills in Talent Acquisition, including recruitment, selection, and hiring

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Proficient in using various office software including MS Office Suite

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proactive problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
