Job Title : Jr. Buyer

　　Job Description:

　　Assist buyers and managers with writing purchase orders, buying merchandise, and managing inventory

　　Analyze supplier and retail data to assist buyers in decision making on cost and sell

　　Research suppliers to determine which ones fit company pricing and quality objectives

　　Advise retail outlets how to price products based on purchase price and market trends

　　Review purchase orders, conferring with other departments to verify orders, contacting vendors and evaluating bids offered by suppliers

　　Help with various purchasing procedures, inventories, accounts, proposals and similar preparations

　　Determine purchasing needs, analyzing quotes and bids for suitability, cost and product availability

　　Evaluate samples, products and services

　　Recommend and initiating purchase of materials, supplies and services

　　An in store training will occur for a period of time. Time frame may vary by department

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor’s degree required

　　Computer proficiency in Microsoft office
