Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Jr Accounting Analyst.
What you’ll do:
1. PRIMARY FUNCTION:
A. As part of the finance group, he/she will be responsible for the general accounting processes such as EMSA Trading Invoicing. Furthermore, he/she will support financial close process (monthly basis) and internal controls and FA Capex activities, such as internal processes, FA Cycle Counts, and other reporting requirements.
2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Daily invoicing EMSA Trading.
B. Responsible for performing fixed asset cycle counts, ensuring that the fixed assets are tagging in their capitalization and ensuring of maintain the information updated related this during his life.
C. Responsible for ensuring that the disposal scrap process of fixed assets and non-productive material is completed since the schedule until the process invoice.
D. Responsible for sticking monthly fixed assets label.
E. Responsible for collect pictures and signs for all FA capitalizations.
F. Participate and support on physical inventory and financial close and Profit Plan activities with accuracy, and in accordance with corporate timing and reporting requirements.
G. Assist & Participate in diverse accounting initiatives and projects as required.
H. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.
A. Degree in Business administration or Accounting.
B. Bilingual: Spanish and English, the later one at least at 60% in both writing and verbal.
C. Minimum of one year work experience combined with a technical, specialized knowledge of general accounting that enables the incumbent to solve daily and high exposure problems.
D. Interpersonal Skills in order to communicate with customer as well as Eaton Management.
E. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specially spreadsheet software packages Excel
F. SAP Knowledge a Plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Position involves analytical skills, with some amount of computer modeling to facilitate achievement of reporting requirements. Solutions must be developed for a variety of problems, some which do not readily lend themselves to a quick and easy method of resolution.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities often with demanding time constraints to meet recurring and adhoc reporting requirements.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities to achieve clear alignment between internal customers.
• Focus on continuous improvement and best practice sharing within and across organization.
