　　Job Title: Journeyman Plumber (JPL)

　　Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Journeyman Plumber in Pasadena, CA. The project is approx. 3 million SF with more than 200 buildings on campus. The Plumber is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and operations of all plumbing systems. Ensure quality workmanship and high work standards conforming at all times to the published plumbing codes. Maintains the quality and quantity of their work up to acceptable company standards and in accordance with established policies.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Performs repair and installations of all plumbing related equipment as outlined in the TDD Section 8.D.3 – Requirements for Plumbing.

　　Will service and maintain grease traps.

　　Will service oil / gas separators.

　　Responsible for the completion of all PM and record keeping assigned to their areas of responsibility.

　　Submit as required, plumber’s reports for all work done.

　　Responds to tenant requests for repair of toilet / restroom facilities, cleaning of stopped drains and sewer lines requiring the use of motorized equipment. This includes utilization of specialty equipment such as jetters and snakes.

　　Responds to site plumbing emergencies at any time and when requested.

　　Ensure that safe working conditions are being maintained in all areas under their control.

　　Performs maintenance on assigned utility cart.

　　Work with the MRO group to provide vendor quotes and information for ordering material.

　　Qualifications:

　　Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the commercial plumbing trade.

　　Potential Applicants must hold or obtain within the first 60 days of Employment a recognized Journeyman’s License from an accredited institution such as:

　　Los Angeles City / County (or)

　　(NITC ) National Inspection / Testing / Certification Corporation Committee?

　　Must have Backflow Prevention Certification.

　　Must have knowledge of computer operations and application pertinent to their field (CMMS, Microsoft applications and email).

　　Must have knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local safety codes and be able to read, interpret and explain schematics and drawings.

　　Must be able to move / lift heavy objects, climb vertical ladders and work at various heights.

　　Strong interpersonal skills and good customer service skills.

　　Ability to read and write in the English Language.

　　Valid CA driver’s license.

　　Must have the ability to multi-task, be organized, pay attention to detail, be dependable, and be a team player.

　　Flexibility to work alternate schedules as necessary.

　　Perform all other duties as assigned to meet customer critical missions.

　　Provide own basic hand tools.
