　　Summary:

　　The Janitor will maintain plant sanitation and cleanliness in the following areas: Break rooms, hallway, main entrance including sidewalk approach, stairs to main office, main offices and other supervisor/manager offices, locker rooms and uniform storage areas, restrooms and the exterior of the plant. Mopping, vacuuming, washing windows and walls, cleaning surfaces, taking out trash, cleaning floor mats, cleaning air vents, picking up trash, among other duties are required to maintain these areas, and any other duties as assigned by a supervisor. The janitor position requires a person that consistently performs their work efficiently and effectively requiring little direct supervision.

　　Schedule:

　　Current vacancy is for day shift from 5:00am-5:00pmLeprino Foods is a 24/7 operating facility and the employee must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary. Our schedules run 12 hours on a 2-2-3 rotation that allows for every other weekend off. After training is complete, new hires will be assigned a regular schedule on the next available shift.Pay Rate:

　　$19.97/hr, G1 $0.75 Evening Pay Differential for every evening hour worked between 3:00pm-6:00am$0.50 Weekend Pay Differential for every hour worked Saturday & SundayResponsibilities:

　　Clean lunchrooms - remove trash, wipe off tables, clean microwave, sweep & mop floor, clean windows, clean refrigerator, etc. Clean locker rooms - scrub showers, dust lockers, sweep & mop floors, empty trash, etc. Clean restrooms - sanitize toilets/urinals, scrub hand sinks, clean/refill soap, paper towels, sanitary napkin dispensers, refill toilet paper, sweep/mop floor, clean mirrors, etc. Clean offices - remove trash, sweep/mop or vacuum floor, dust overhead, dust chairs, clean desk top & table, clean windows, etc. Maintenance of floors by sweeping, washing, waxing, scrubbing and vacuuming where carpets exist. Assist manager with inventory of materials needed and inventory of materials used by other departments.Stock paper towels and refill soap dispensers in production areas.Refilling of all plant towel dispensers in facility, and cleaning of all sinks and water fountains in facility.Trash removal in all restrooms, offices, break rooms, conference rooms, laboratories and laundry room.Must wear personal protective equipment in high noise areas, when handling chemicals, etc. and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Other duties as assignedRequirements:

　　Able to read and write legiblyUnderstand written and verbal instructionsAbility to pass a physical abilities test to assess ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, and climb stairs/ladders as required for the position.Must be able to work Sunday - Saturday, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and required overtime to support a 24 hour/7 day operation.Preferred skills:

　　Previous experience in a custodial position.Physical Demands & Environment:

　　This position will be exposed to working in a wet/slippery environment with loud noise in varying degrees of temperature. Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions (heat and cold).Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods.Ability to pass a physical abilities test to assess ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, and climb stairs/ladders. Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs regularly, climb up/down stairs, and climb ladders.
