　　This position will pay between $100-120k depending on experience.

　　The Subject Matter Expert 2 (SME 2) will assist their CSDM in project planning and execution for new initiatives for the AEGIS IT Department. The SME 2 oversees the daily operations of AFRC's AEGIS IT department to ensure the functionality, availability, and security of AFRC's AEGIS IT systems, data, backups, and communications; troubleshoot and remediate issues that arise. You will be assisting with documentation of these projects and communicating with Engineers, System Administrators, and Technical Leads. This position will serve as a direct report to the AFRC CSDM for Leidos on the NASA AEGIS Program. This will be a highly visible role with direct access to team leadership. 　　Primary Responsibilities

　　• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, tasks, and resource allocation.

　　• Resource Allocation: Assist in resource allocation by coordinating with team members and ensuring that team members have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks.

　　• Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, identify and address potential roadblocks, and report project status to the Customer. Ensure projects are on track and within scope.

　　• Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including project schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes. Ensure that all project-related documents are accurate and up to date.

　　• Communication: Facilitate communication among project team members and Customers. Schedule and lead regular project meetings, providing updates, and ensuring that action items are documented and followed up on.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Requires broad knowledge of two technical or business fields and extensive knowledge in: Compute, Storage, Data Services, Network, Resource Management, Cybersecurity, Tool and Application development.Proven experience as a technology expert on delivering technological requirements and solving problemsRelevant IT certifications (preferred). [ ITIL, MTA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, ACSP]Proven experience as a project coordinator, analyst, lead, assistant or Jr. project manager in a similar role within the IT industry (preferred). Proficiency in project management software and tools. (Jira, Confluence)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities. Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Attention to detail and a focus on quality. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

　　DUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent years of experience.

　　This position will pay between $100-120k depending on experience.

　　Pay Range:

　　Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
